Even a Mild Winter Means Empty Food Banks

The winter in Lackawanna County has been an easy one for most of us, yet some families every year have to choose between heat and food. It is for those people in our community that Library patrons are pitching in during the month of March to help restock food pantry shelves that have been emptied by the usual winter demand.
