Susan Campbell Bartoletti Meet and Greet

Award winning local author Susan Campbell Bartoletti will sign books and answer questions on Thursday, November 10th at 5:30 PM at the Carbondale Public Library. We will have pizza and water for attendees.

Although we will be focusing on Susan Campbell Bartoletti’s teen books adults and children are welcome to join us.

Her latest book “Terrible Typhoid Mary: The Deadliest Book in America” will be available for purchase, as well as “Growing Up in Coal Country,” and “The Boy Who Dared.” We will hold a free raffle for one copy of “Terrible Typhoid Mary.”

“Terrible Typhoid Mary: The Deadliest Book in America,” is featured in our fall Teen Reading Lounge series for teens grades 6-12. Our first two sessions will be held Thursday October 13th and 27th at 5 PM. Teen Reading Lounge participants get a free copy of the book. If you have not read the book you can still join us for a discussion on whether Mary Mallon aka Typhoid Mary was a victim or villain, and for interactive activities. We will have a real debate on December 1st with 2 preparation session on November 3rd and 17th.
