ZooMobile to Kick Off Library Week

Saturday, April 8th /  11 A.M. & 12:15 P.M.  /  Marketplace @ Steamtown

The ZooMobile is coming to Scranton to help the Lackawanna County Library System kick off National Library Week!

Based at Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park, the ZooMobile is a mobile education program that travels with a variety of live animals that kids and adults can see and touch.

National Library Week is sponsored by the American Library Association and libraries across the country each year. It is a time to celebrate the contributions of our nation’s libraries and librarians and to promote library use and support. This year’s theme, “Libraries Transform” acknowledges the power of libraries to change lives.

The Zoomobile event will be held at Center Court of the Markerplace at Steamtown with shows at 11 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. Like all things at the Library, it’s free!
