Help Flood Victims Clean Up

Extreme weather is wreaking havoc all over the country. News of wildfires in the Northwest are pushed off the front page by stories of flooding closer to home. It’s for the victims of those recent floods, and in anticipation of the inevitable flooding that will come with fall storms, that the Lackawanna County Library System is collecting items for “Flood Buckets,” to distribute to families in flood areas.
Essential items for Flood Buckets include Spic and Span, long-handled mops, bleach, work gloves, air freshener and more. You can get a complete list at any Lackawanna County library, which is also where you can drop your donations.
Help families get back into their homes after the heartbreak of flooding by giving to fill Flood Buckets.
