It’s that time of year! The Friends of the Abington Community Library are holding their annual book sale at the Clarks Summit United Methodist Church on Saturday, October 6 from 8:30 AM to 2 PM. There will be thousands of books, DVDs, and CDs all ready for you to purchase and enjoy.

The Friends Preview Sale will occur the night before on Friday, October 5, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. To enjoy this preview sale, you must be a Friends member and in good standing. Annual memberships are $10/individual and $15/family. You may join or renew on Friday night!

The best part? Credit cards are accepted, so bring a tote and get ready to fill up your bag with book goodies.

Later that evening at the Abington Community Library will host its signature event, Tasting By The Book. Join us for delicious food, live music, and great wine. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at the Library. All proceeds go towards creating a new meeting space at the Library. This event is 21+.
