Winter Reading Challenge for Grownups

Winter is a time to stay indoors and curl up with a good book. To encourage readers to do so, the Lackawanna County Library System is offering a Winter Reading Challenge for grownups that adds a little spice to the process of borrowing books from the Library.
Every time you check out books at the Circulation Desk of any Lackawanna County Library from Monday, Jan. 14 to Friday, Feb. 22, you will get a raffle ticket. Fill it out and you could win a $25 gift certificate that can be redeemed at the Library Express Bookstore at the Marketplace at Steamtown.
There is one prize at each library, so your chance of winning is pretty good! We have a great selection of books for winter reading, so stock up on hot chocolate or flavored tea and head over to the Library.
