Scranton Reads: Family Stories–Their Value and Persistence in Our Lives Today @ Room 331/337, 3rd Floor, Learning Commons, Marywood University, Scranton, PA
Oct 25 @ 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm

Stories surround us from the folk tales of our childhood to the cultural stories of today. We’ll look at the value of family stories in our lives. Just like in Gilead, family stories pivot our lives; the why and how we evolve in our own families are important pieces of our culture. What are the family stories that get passed down through the generations? Who are the family members that dominate those stories? And why do family stories persist through the ages? All good questions with, sometimes, surprising answers.
