One-on-One Senior Computer Class @ Valley Community Library

Are you or someone you know struggling to use a computer?

For adults 55 and older, these computer classes are designed for those who have no previous experience with computers or those who may just need some extra help.

Our instructor will help you from the very beginning of using the mouse and learning the parts of a computer all the way to surfing the Web, email, printing, and using social media websites. This is a one-on-one class lasting 1/2 hour. Each class is different because it is designed specifically to fit your needs.

Class times are Wednesdays at 2:30 p.m. or 3:00 p.m. and Thursdays at 1:30 p.m. or 2:00 p.m.

You must make an appointment by visiting or calling the library.

Book Club @ Valley Community Library

A story is always better if you have someone to share it with.

Our next monthly book club meeting will be on Wednesday, April 26th, at 6:30 pm at the Valley Community Library. April’s amazing book choice is “The Rosie Project” by Graeme Simsion. Come join us for an interesting book discussion and snacks! This book club meets every last Wednesday of the month. New members are always welcome!

Valley Community Library will close at 2:00pm Thursday, April 27 for Books Appetit setup. The 12th annual Books Appetit fundraising event is 6:30pm until 9:30pm that night. The library will not be open for regular library services. Tickets $25 available at the library. This year’s chef demonstration will feature Patti Chen of Patti’s Pitas, “a Mediterranean Bistro that serves Israeli Pita sandwiches with an American twist.”
