Appy Hour- Tablet Help:

Open Lab:

Need help formatting a resume? Creating a slideshow presentation? How about social media? Stop by during our Open lab to work hands-on with one of our instructors. First come, first serve…Seating is Limited

Intro to Computers:

Learn about the basic functions of computers and the Windows 10 Operating System.

Class Format: Hands on Skill    Prerequisites: N/A   Audience: Adults

Laptop Help:

Bring your laptop and your questions to the Community Room for 2 hours of hands on help with one of our computer instructors.

Facebook 101:

How to setup a Facebook page,  set privacy settings, how to post, comment, and create a event.

Class Format: Hands on   Prerequisites: Mouse basics and keyboarding skills.  Audience: Adults

Internet Safety: 

Learn how to protect your computer and your identity while using the internet.

Class Format: Hands on   Prerequisites: Mouse basics and keyboarding skills.  Audience: Adults

Google Services:

Learn how to search, email, create and share with free services offered by Google.

Class Format: Hands on   Prerequisites: Mouse basics and keyboarding skills.  Audience: Adults

PowerPoint:

Learn how to work with Microsoft Office PowerPoint to create electronic presentations

Class Format: Hands On  Prerequisites: Mouse basics and Keyboarding Skills. Experience in PowerPoint for the Intermediate level class.  Audience: Adults

Word:

Beginner and Intermediate Microsoft Word are a 3 part class that teaches Microsoft Word. At the completion of classes, students will understand the components of Word, how to create/edit documents, formatting text, adding graphics, and creating templates.

Class Format: Hands on   Prerequisites: Basic knowledge of computers and keyboarding. Experience in Word for the Intermediate level class.  Audience: Adults

Excel:

Beginnger through Adavnced level courses where students will learn how to create, edit, calculate, and print data using Microsoft excel 2010.

Class Format: Hands on  Prerequisites: Mouse basics and keyboarding skills.  Experience in Excel for the Intermedidate and Adavnced level classes.  Audience: Adults

Publisher:

This course will teach the basic of Microsoft Publisher, which is used to create various business documents.

Class Format: Hands on Skill Prerequisites: Attendance of beginner Word 1-3 or Basic knowledge of Word 2013.  Audience: Adults

Social Media Help: 
This class is taught in 2 parts; The first half hour is instruction on a specific social network, the remaining 90 minutes is an open session to ask questions and get help with your social media accounts.

Resume & Job Search: 
This class is taught in 2 parts; The first hour is spent giving instruction on creating resumes, cover letters, and interview preparation. The remaining hour is open to receive help searching/applying for jobs online.

What the Cloud?: 
This class discusses what exactly is the cloud and some popular cloud services such as iCloud, DropBox, and Google Drive.
Intro to Genealogy
Interested in learning how to get started with searching your family tree? Join us for a 2 hour workshop on beginner Genealogy. We will review library resources such as Ancestry.com and Heritage Quest.
