The masonry restoration work continues on the Albright Memorial Library this summer.  Work is now being completed on the front of the building with cranes and scaffolding.   During this time, the front entrance to the library may be closed for safety reasons.  We ask that you use the elevator entrance found in the rear of the building to enter the building.

The elevator entrance is in the court yard between the Albright Memorial Library and the Scranton Cultural Center. To get there from the front entrance,  make a left at the corner onto Washington Ave, follow the fence line, turn left at the end of the black fence and walk  down the court yard between the buildings.  You will see the elevator entrance half way down the court yard.
