See Photos of our teams from the Junior Battle of the Books!

On Thursday, August 7th, two teams from the Nancy Kay Holmes Library competed in the Junior Battle of the Books. The Battle took place at Marywood University. Our team names were Blue Books and Blue Knights. We were up against some tough competition – all the contestants were fabulous readers!

To prepare for this competition, we meet weekly on Wednesdays to discuss what we read. We had fun during our meetings and we even played jeopardy! We wish to congratulate all of the teams that participated in this battle. It was a fabulous experience for everyone involved.

We’re looking forward to next year’s competition already!
