The Carbondale Public Library presents it’s Home School Series starting this Friday, October 17th @ 1 PM. Programs are geared towards grades K-6, but siblings are welcome to join us.

This program will be a little different than past programs. It’s all about learning to work with others. Participants will be challenged to work together to solve several problems.

• Can your group save Fred the Gummy Worm from his capsized boat?
• Can your group complete the Cup Challenge?
• How creative can you or your group be with pipe cleaners?

Please register, so we can have materials prepared for all particpants. You can register at the library or by giving us a call.

The next program will be about bridges on November 21st @ 1 PM. We will focus on the main types of bridges, but will also discuss what we use bridges for and what bridges are made out of. Children will also have a chance to make their own bridge model.

We do not meet in December. Programs for January to April are to be announced.
