Pulitzer Judges Announce 2015 Winners

Includes Awards for Books


One of the biggest events of the literary calendar is the announcement of the Pulitzer Prizes and last week, the Prize Committee released the names of all those who the awards for 2015. Established in the will of 19th and early 20th Century publisher, Joseph Pulitzer, the prizes have been awarded since 1917.


Of special interest to library patrons are the awards for literature which are given in six categories: fiction, drama, history, biography or autobiography, poetry and general non-fiction.


For many readers, the Pulitzer winners are must-reads in the coming months.
