1 Million Copies Being Released
One of the most exciting publishing events of 2015 happens this week when Random House releases a previously unknown book by Dr. Seuss called “What Pet Should I Get.”
The book was found with complete text and illustrations in a box of abandoned projects and miscellaneous drawings. “What Pet Should I Get” will join the 45 other books in the Seuss canon which have delighted children with colorful characters and wacky rhymes and rhythms since the first one was published in 1937.
More than 650 million copies of Seuss books have been printed throughout the world. They continue to be popular selections in Lackawanna County libraries.
