Have you picked up your yellow Frequent Reader Card yet? The Abington Community Library launched a brand-new Frequent Reader program this month since September is Library Card Sign-Up Month. Be sure your library card is current and encourage your friends and family to apply for one.

When you register for a Frequent Reader Card you will begin to earn rewards by visiting the library and checking out books. Frequent Reader Cards are for all ages.

Here is how it works: pick up a Frequent Reader Card from the front desk or the children’s library. Get your card punched by a library staff member each time you pick up books for yourself (no matter how many books you check out). When you reach your tenth punch on the card, you are eligible to pick out a free book from the Book Nook. Discover a new series, ask staff for reading suggestions, or request books.
