Have you always wondered what magazine advertisements from the 20’s, 30’s, 40’s, and 50’s looked like?  Well the Reference Department at the Scranton Public Library has a great collection of historic periodicals available for patron use.  These periodicals have wonderful advertisements and photographs. During the month of November and December we will be showcasing ads and recipes that you can use for the holidays in the Reference Lobby.  If you see a recipe you have to have (totally understand impulse baking) please ask us and we will gladly get you a copy.
