Do you have high school yearbooks from schools in Lackawanna County in your attic or basement? Have you wondered what to do with them? Well we have the solution to your problem! The Local History Department at the Scranton Public Library has a small yearbook collection available to patrons and visitors. We get requests almost daily for these books. Patrons and visitors alike use these for genealogy and high school reunions. We are asking the public to consider donating yearbooks for our local history archives. These books will be housed in our local history collection and will not be circulated. The staff are invested in preserving materials for future generations. We thank you for your consideration. For more information please call the Reference Department at 570-348-3000 ext. 3008 or email email@example.com. Thank you.
