St. Joseph is the Patron Saint of Italian-Americans and of immigrants. In honor of his feast day, Saturday, March 19, the Abington Community Library and SIAMO NEPA will host a traditional Italian-American celebration from 2-4 PM.

The St. Joseph’s Day Italian heritage celebration will include…

– A reading of Strega Nona by Tomie dePaola for kids

– A showing of clips from PBS’s “The Italian-Americans”

– Children’s crafts

– An Italian-American food potluck

 Registration is not required, however if you are bringing food to the potluck please sign up at the Abington Community Library or call   SIAMO NEPA at (570) 290-7212
