Abington Community Library wants you to remember that even though National Library Week soon draws to a close, remember to continue to show your library love! Visit your local library every week (day!) of the year; join our conversations, learn something new, visit an old friend (Sense and Sensibility anyone?) or make a new one, download an eBook, and so much more.
First sponsored in 1958, National Library Week is a national observance sponsored by the American Library Association (ALA) and libraries across the country each April. It is a time to celebrate the contributions of our nation’s libraries and librarians and to promote library use and support. All types of libraries – school, public, academic and special – participate.
