Join Jean Hayes from The Scranton Beets at Abington Community Library on Saturday, August 6, 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM and learn how to make tasty plant-based party appetizers, snacks, and desserts.
With Jean’s guidance you will learn to make a beautiful array of colorful dishes that will wow your guests without clogging their arteries. You will start with Dr. Seuss stacked polenta, sample some homemade hummus with veggies, snack on cashew cheese with basil and sun dried tomatoes, roll some veggie sushi, enjoy cauliflower wings with ranch dip, and finish with nut butter brownies and nice cream. There may be a surprise or two along the way, too! This event will be moderately interactive.
