NOTE: The Library will be closing at 7 PM on Thursday evening as things ice up. You may obtain a disc during business hours on Friday or over the weekend.

The Abington Community Library, Clarks Summit, is seeking lump sum bids from Contractors for construction improvements at the project site located at 1200 West Grove Street, Clarks Summit, PA 18411. The scope of work includes exterior work including but not limited to the following: selective demolition and replacement of existing paved surfaces and concrete walks and curbs.

A pre-bid meeting will be held on site on Friday, March 17, 2017 beginning at 11:00 AM local time. Sealed bids are due on Monday, March 27, 2017 at 2:00 PM local time. Performance and payment bond, proof of insurance and bid bond or ten percent bid security is required to be submitted with bid along with all requirements listed in the contract documents.

Interested bidders may inspect or purchase bid documents on CD from the Abington Community Library, 1200 West Grove Street, Clarks Summit, PA 18411 during regular business hours of 9AM – 9PM M-F, 9AM-5PM Sat., and 2PM-5PM Sun. If weather is bad, call (570) 587-3440 to make sure the Library is open.

Electronic CDs can be obtained from the Library at a non-refundable cost of $15.00 per disc for the bid package. Only complete sets of bid documents will be issued. Bidders who have purchased the bid document CD will be considered Bidders of Record.
