Libraries are changing.
Today they are more about what they do, for and with library users rather than what they have for patrons. Libraries aren’t only a place of quiet study, but also creative and engaging community centers where people can collaborate using new technologies, learn how to use technology or just relax.
In Lackawanna County, libraries offer access to a variety of print and digital resources, including language instruction from Mango, downloadable eBooks and audiobooks, from OverDrive and OneClickDigital, health information, and vast online research tools. We also offer computer classes, lectures, story times for children, movies for all ages, and much more.
During National Library Week, stop by any Lackawanna County library and get acquainted with all that we do.
