Birds of Prey to Highlight Summer Reading Program

Events Scheduled at all Libraries

Kids who sign up for Summer Reading at Lackawanna County Libraries will have a chance to get up close and personal with an owl, a hawk and a falcon as the Endless Mountain Nature Center brings these raptors to each library this summer. All the birds on display are species native to Northeastern Pennsylvania.

Here is the schedule of visits by the Endless Mountain Nature Center:

  • Lackawanna County Children’s Library Sunday / June 18th @ 2 P.M.
  • Taylor Community Library / Monday, June 19th @ 2 P.M.
  • Dalton Community Library / Tuesday, June 20th @ 11 A.M.
  • Valley Community Library / Wednesday, June 21st @ 2 P.M.
