Try Something New This Year: Papercrafting

It’s a new year and that means finding new hobbies and challenging yourself a bit more than you did last year.

Have you ever wanted learn more about papercrafting or try a program about it?

In 2018, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to make your own crafts through all of the papercrafting programs at our library.

If you love the regular monthly papercrafting programs and want to focus more on your technique and find tools and tips to add an extra special touch to your projects, try out the tips, tools and techniques programs held every other month on the first Thursday from 6 to 8 PM. 2018 dates for this program are as follows: January 4, March 1, May 5, July 5, September 6 and November 1.

Each month, you can sign up to participate in the month papercrafting program held typically on the third Thursday of the month from 6 to 8 PM. There is a different theme each month. Registration is required and there is a $10 materials fee due to the instructor at the time of the class. Our first program will take place on Thursday, January 18th from 6 to 8 PM with a theme of loving thoughts.

A new program will be coming in 2018 entitled, Stamp-N-Swap. Stay tuned for more information about this.

All of our papercrafting programs are facilitated by Maria Pappa. Please check our PR table or website to stay up-to-date on program dates, materials fees and registration for each. You may call our library at (570) 587-3440 to register too.

We hope you’ll branch out this year and try something new, whether it be papercrafting or another one of our programs.
