Join a team at the Abington Community Library as we prepare to compete against readers from all over Lackawanna County in Battle of the Books!

Junior Battle of the Books (JBOB) is open to readers going into 4-6th grade, and Battle of the Books (BOB) is open to readers going into grades 7-12. BOB teams are divided into two age groups of 7-9th grade and 10-12th grade.

Participants will be asked to read a selection of books over the course of the summer and then test your knowledge against other libraries at a special competition at Marywood University.
