In an effort to help slow the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus), the Pennsylvania Department of Education has instructed public libraries be closed until Sunday, March 29, 2020. Therefore, effective Monday, March 16, 2020 the North Pocono Public Library will be closed in accordance with this instruction. At this time we are planning to reopen Monday, March 30, 2020. Library materials may be renewed online or returned to our book drop. Should you be unable to renew or return materials, you will not be penalized. Of course, online library services (e-books, downloadable audiobooks, research databases) are still available 24/7 at lclshome.org. We will share information and keep you up to date on news as this situation develops. We are all focused on providing the services we can while safeguarding the health of our community.
