An Activity for Everyone

Readers of all ages are invited to “Imagine Your Story” during Summer Quest, an eight-week reading program that will be conducted online due to ongoing restrictions to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The rules are simple. From June 15 to August 7 participants will read and log their books to earn digital badges. The target is 800 minutes of reading, which breaks down to just under 15 minutes per day.

Progress will be tracked on Beanstack, an app for computer or mobile device where people can register for Summer Quest, keep track of their reading, and earn rewards. A link to Beanstack will be made available later this week. Watch Live & Learn and lclshome.org.

Summer reading programs are a tradition at Lackawanna County libraries and 2020 will be no exception. This year it will just be a little different.
