Dial Down your Stress at the Library

Would you like to feel a sense of peace and calm more often in your daily life?  The Library is offering two programs to help you manage your stress and maintain your well-being. The first is an Adult Morning Meditation class on Monday through Friday, July 6-10 at 8:30 AM.  Join licensed spiritual practitioner Marianne Ruane, RScP, for a short morning meditation. For 30 minutes each day, participants will be guided into the stillness with various techniques for focusing attention and relaxing the body. The result is greater peace, compassion, and access to inner wisdom. Beginners are welcome. This session will take place on Zoom.

In August, we will be hosting Dr. Teresa Conte in Check Out Your Resiliency- Ways to Build Your Resiliency and Self-Care on Monday, August 10 at 7 PM. Do you feel overwhelmed or stressed out? Dr. Conte will discuss ways to increase our resilience and also practice self-care in our daily lives. Dr. Teresa Conte is an expert in her field and we are thrilled to offer this information.
