As all our major in-person fundraising events have been cancelled in 2020 due to COVID-19, we are looking at creative ways to raise money. We hope you’ll take part in our efforts!

During July, we have a special raffle basket featuring Canned Classics. Canned Classics is known for their gourmet treats made from the freshest ingredients! Some of her delicious items include: Sizzlin’ Salsa – Classic Corn Relish – Perfectly Pickled Beets – Awesome Applesauce – Chunky Chili Sauce – Bread and Butter “Zickles” – Apple Cranberry Chutney – “Dill” icious Green Beans, Italian Giardiniera. Purchase raffle tickets to support the Abington Community Library and purchase directly from Canned Classics through her Facebook page.

Tired of cooking and looking for something different? Support the Abington Community Library through a Takeout Event with POSH @ SC! POSH is donating a portion of their proceeds to the Library on Thursday, July 23 from 4 to 9 PM. Order something to go! You’ll be supporting a local business, your local library, and you won’t have to cook dinner!

Finally, mark your calendar for Thursday, August 20 from 5-7 PM as we host “Founding Mothers”! We’ll be at Hillside Park and hearing from Abigail Adams* as she shares about the founding of our country and the politics of the day. A boxed picnic lunch will be available from Caravia! You will not want to miss this great event – timely and interesting for the whole family. Register at the library today. *Abigail Adams will be portrayed by globally acclaimed author Deborah L.
