Free Mindfulness Online Workshop

Feeling stressed and looking to focus and calm your mind?

Join Geisinger’s health and wellness team to learn about the growing field of mindfulness. Mindfulness is a mental state achieved by focusing one’s awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one’s feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations, used as a therapeutic technique. The presentation will discuss the benefits of mindfulness, how to practice mindfulness, and will provide tools that can be used in almost all aspects of life.

This presentation is presented by Geisinger’s health and wellness team in partnership with the Scranton Public Library.
