Dear Patrons,

Due to the ongoing and projected surge in COVID-19 cases, the Albright Memorial Library will, effective on Monday, December 14, begin limiting in-person services.  The limitations will stay in effect through January 2, 2021 at which time they will be reevaluated.

Here are the services that will be available.

Curbside services include:

Borrow Library Materials

• Pick up library items placed on hold
  • This includes our new Winter Loan Bundles (click here for more info)
• Participate in the Winter Loan Program (When you borrow 10 or more items, you can request a 6-week loan for them)
• Watch our video tutorial on YouTube to access our online resources, search the library catalog, and place items on hold.

Readers Advisory

• Call our Readers Advisory desk to request books and movies you’d like to borrow and ask for recommendations. Call (570) 348-3000 ext. 3016.

Printing, Copying, Faxing

• Printing/Copying
  • Pull up to the library’s designated Curbside spot, call the Reference Department, and they will help you print or copy your document(s). Please make sure you have your document saved in an email or on a portable USB stick so we can print it. Call (570) 348-3000 ext. 3008.
• Faxing
  • Pull up to the library’s Curbside spot, call the Reference Department, and have your documents ready. A staff member will come out to your car, pick up your documents, and have them faxed inside the library. All originals will be given back to you with a confirmation receipt that your fax was received. Call (570) 348-3000 ext. 3008.

Local History/Genealogy

• Our Reference librarians will be on hand via phone to help you find local history and genealogy information. Call (570) 348-3000 ext. 3008.

General Reference Help

Curbside Service Hours & Location

Monday through Thursday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Friday & Saturday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pick up location is in Dix Court (the alley between the Albright and the Children’s library). Enter from Mulberry Street (between Posh and Parking Garage).
