Dear Patrons,

The Scranton Public Library will be reopening its doors to the public starting Monday, January 11. This includes the Albright Memorial Library, Lackawanna County Children’s Library, and the Nancy Kay Holmes Library.

The following safety procedures will be in effect.

• Face masks are required to be worn at all times while on library property. The mask must cover the mouth and nose.
• Social distancing guidelines are in effect inside the building and on library grounds.
• Occupancy limits will be followed.
• Public computer access may be reduced in length to ensure equitable access.
• Patrons have the option to do self-checkout for library materials.

All library visitors must follow these safety regulations as stated in the library’s current COVID-19 patron policy. Staff may ask a patron to use Curbside Service only if they are unable to follow these rules.

Curbside Service

Winter Loan Program and Winter Loan Bundles

Curbside WiFi Available at the Albright Memorial Library

Use the library WiFi on your digital devices when you pull up to the Albright Memorial Library’s front entrance or by the library book return box. Click here for more information.
