School’s out! It’s time to build a summer of fun and discovery.  That is why the library has a Summer Quest Program full of activities designed to make your summer special.

Everyone is allowed to participate either with a paper log or by signing up on Beanstack at lclshome.beanstack.org.  Log your reading minutes and activities online and earn badges!

The library has a variety of in-person and online activities planned for all ages.  Here is a list of some of the programs planned for children this year:

Bi-Weekly Activities – Interactive displays, STEM challenge videos, and/or Take and Make craft kits

Outdoor Programs – Registration is required.

Location: YMCA Community Park
Time: 10am-12pm (register for time slot)

Obstacle Course and Craft – June 25th
Make and Take Suncatchers – July 9th
Storywalk – July 22nd

Storytime – Thursdays at either 11am (toddler/preschool) or 1:30pm (preschool-Grade 2) – please register ahead of time

Fun Guests – Registration is required.

Unicorns Break the Cage (Zoom) – July 13th at 11am
Steamtown Historic Site – August 6th at 11am
Everhart Museum – August 10th at 2pm

Battle of the Books – Virtual Edition – Begins July 1st – Read books and take the online quiz to test your knowledge.
