August Community Collection: Griffin Pond Animal Shelter

It’s the dog days of summer! This month, libraries in Lackawanna county are promoting community donations to Griffin Pond Animal Shelter.

Items requested will go directly to support the mission of the Shelter and give aid and comfort to the animals there. Please donate directly to the Shelter or drop off items to the Taylor Community Library.

Items donated directly to the Shelter may be dropped off daily anytime from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Donations can be left in the bins located directly outside of their lower entrance doors or directly inside the shelter at the lower entrance doors. If you enter the building, please remember to wear a face covering, per the request of the Shelter.
