The Community Meeting originally scheduled for Saturday, January 22 at 2:00 P.M. at the Nancy Kay Holmes Library has been postponed. The new date for the meeting is Saturday, February 26 at 2 P.M.
Interested attendees may also join this live meeting virtually over Zoom.
During the meeting, library representatives will share preliminary plans for renovating the branch and ask attendees for their ideas on how the branch can better serve the community.
The original library structure still stands proudly at the busy Green Ridge Street and Wyoming Avenue intersection. The Nancy Kay Holmes Library Renovation Project will include a handicap-accessible entrance and other ADA-compliant upgrades, as currently there is no access for disabled patrons or caregivers with strollers or other equipment. The goal of the renovation project is to make the Nancy Kay Holmes Library accessible to all residents of Green Ridge and Dunmore and to modernize the building’s interior to serve the community more adequately.
