During the month of February, the Lackawanna County Library System is pleased to present two special Beanstack challenges. To participate, simply login to your account at lclshome.beanstack.org. If you have never participated in a Beanstack event before, create an account. Then, register for the challenge(s).

All ages may participate in the Black History Month challenge. Learn about the history of Black health and wellness in the U.S. and explore mental, emotional, and physical health resources created by and for the Black community. For further reading, check out book recommendations honoring the Black experience. Log reading and activities to earn badges all month long.

Adults may participate in the American Heart Month Challenge. February is Heart Month, so take a few minutes to complete activities to learn more about how to take care of your heart.
