Serve on Your Library Board of Trustees!

The Abington Community Library is seeking volunteers to fill at-large positions on our Board of Trustees. The board oversees all affairs of the Abington Community Library and represents the interests of residents in surrounding boroughs and townships including Clarks Green, Clarks Summit, Glenburn, Newton, North Abington, Ransom, South Abington, Waverly, West Abington and Scott Township. As part of the Lackawanna County Library System, it offers Library service free of charge to any resident of Lackawanna County. The application deadline is October 20, 2023.
