Teen Battle of the Book Survey

We are seeking teen input for the 2019 Teen Battle of the Books. You can help decide what books you will have to read to compete against other teams from around the Lackawanna County Library System by taking the survey below.

Please take the survey for the grade you will be entering next September (2019). Voting will be open until Friday, December 21st.

Grades 7-9

What is Battle of the Books?
Battle of the Books is a team competition where you can demonstrate your knowledge of the selected books.

When and where will it take place?
In the beginning of August. Date and time to be announced.
@ Marywood University, Latour Room in the Student Center
A meeting with team members may be required.  Ask your Young Adult Librarian.

How do I get involved?
In May or June sign up at your local Lackawanna County Library System library. Libraries will combine teams if necessary.

Other Information
Teams will consist of 3-5 members.
We will have two competition levels: a 7th – 9th Grade Level, and a 10th – 12th Grade Level.  Books may be divided up among team members, but it is recommended that at least 2 members of the team read each book.
