Library Screening of Alfred Hitchcock’s PSYCHO Wednesday, June 19th

June’s Classic Movie Night will feature Alfred Hitchcock’s 1960 horror masterpiece Psycho, starring Anthony Perkins, Vera Miles and Janet Leigh. The screening is scheduled for Wednesday, June 19th at 6:30 PM in the Henkleman Room, located on the second floor of Scranton Public Library.
In 1960, film audiences in Germany saw a version of Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho that included brief camera shots/footage edited from the American release of the film. The library is proud to be presenting this original uncut version of the 1960 horror masterpiece, ahead of its 60th anniversary.
Admission is free with your library card; registration is REQUIRED for this screening of Psycho.
The film will screen at 6:30 PM, but early birds will be treated to vintage entertainment starting at 6 PM.
Light refreshments will be served.
