DESCRIPTION:Previous registration was required\, this is a continuing series that started on June 23. \nIs your little one heading off to kindergarten at the end of the Summer? Join Teacher Kaedy for a six weeklong Cruise into Kindergarten program that will be running every Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. from June 24 until July 29. Registration is required and limited. By registering you are committing to attending each of the 6-week courses. This program was made possible by a grant supporting Early Literacy from Peoples Security Bank & Trust\, Commonwealth Charitable Management. \nIf this program is full please call the library at 570-489-1765 to be put on a waitlist.

SUMMARY:Earth Science Camp: Rocks and Minerals
DESCRIPTION:This summer\, we’re going to rock and roll out with a special set of afternoon experiments all about earth science! We’ll learn how rocks form\, how tornadoes work\, how to measure an earthquake\, and even take an up-close look at real fossils. Working outdoors and indoors\, we’ll compare both our local stones and those from 400 million years into the past. This program is for young scientists aged 6 to 11 to learn more about how our planet works. This program was made possible by a grant supporting Science\, Technology\, Engineering and Mathematics from Peoples Security Bank & Trust.
