The Lackawanna County’s first ever Festival of Stories is taking place on Friday, August 1 and will include art, trivia, writing, and acting.
The Valley Community Library is inviting students to get ready for the trivia event by joining in on our Festival of Stories Book Club Discussions happening separately for each age group. Read the books for your grade and then come prepared to talk about them with peers. These programs are open to all regardless of if you are participating in trivia, just come discuss these amazing books. This also gives students time to form their teams for trivia. For any questions about the Festival of Stories or these Book Club Discussions please contact either Fawn or Jon in the Youth Department. Thanks to funds from the Friends of the Valley Community Library we have multiple copies of theses books for you to borrow.
