Celebrate Earth Month with Community Cleanups happening throughout the month of April. We are excited to be back with more partnerships and more locations this Spring. The Valley Community Library and the NEPA Sierra Club have partnered with Keep PA Beautiful and other area organizations to pick up litter, do a litter study, and hold conversations about litter prevention, our environment and our community.

On Saturday, April 15th we are partnering with the the Lackawanna County Environmental Office to cleanup around Aylesworth Park.

This event is family friendly, we ask that guardians stay with their children for the duration of the event as we have roadsides, parking lots, a trail, and wooded areas that all have possible safety risks. The Lackawanna County Environmental Office will be providing a light lunch for volunteers to celebrate our hard work.

Supplies will be provided by Keep PA Beautiful, but if you have gloves from last year please bring them. Dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes and bright colors.
