Cruise into kindergarten with this year-long pre-kindergarten experience intended for children who will be attending kindergarten in the Fall of 2023.

The Children’s Library has received materials from The Office of Commonwealth Libraries to start a series of Play K programs, Cruise into Kindergarten, for children and their caregivers through the Cruise into Kindergarten program grant. The Play K  curriculum allows children entering Kindergarten in the fall to “play Kindergarten” using materials from different “playscapes”.

Children will practice activities centered around a theme that is aligned with the PA Learning Standards and Kindergarten readiness skills, such as sitting politely for circle time, imaginative play activities, and daily school routines all in a fun, welcoming setting.

The program runs from July 11th through August 16th. Please register weekly.
