Celebrate Earth Month with Community Cleanups happening throughout the month of April. We are excited to be back with more partnerships and more locations this Spring. The Valley Community Library and the NEPA Sierra Club have partnered with Keep PA Beautiful and other area organizations to pick up litter, do a litter study, and hold conversations about litter prevention, our environment and our community.

On Thursday, April 13th we are partnering with the Abington Community Library and Marywood University to cleanup the old K-Mart parking lot in Dickson City. This event is geared towards teens ages 11 and older and adults. Teens are invited to ask questions about the college and think more about what they’d like to do in the future. We will meet at 4:00 P.M.

Supplies will be provided by Keep PA Beautiful, but if you have gloves from last year please bring them. Dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes and bright colors.
