Event Details

In partnership with the Northland Public Library, the Coy Public Library of Shippensburg, the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, and the Cleve J. Fredricksen Library, the Free Library of Philadelphia presents Environmental Care in the Climate Crisis: A ‘Hear Me Out’ Dialogue.

This is an online event.  Click here to register.

Join your fellow Pennsylvanians in dialogue across distance and difference! With growing attention towards global natural disasters caused by climate change, loss of hope for the future of our planet and climate doomism is prevalent in public discourse. The goal of this two-hour session is to explore different mediums of how we can restore and care for our environment in the years to come, with consideration of indigenous climate restoration and activism, climate infrastructure, and urban & rural environmental justice. Register in advance here.

Hear Me Out is made possible by a generous grant from the Horace W. Goldsmith Foundation.
