Event Details

Just in time for Halloween, October’s Classic Movie Night will feature William Castle’s 1965 thriller I Saw What You Did (And I Know Who You Are), starring Joan Crawford, John Ireland and Leif Erickson.  The film will screen Wednesday, October 16th at 7 PM in the Henkelman Room, located on the 2nd floor of Scranton Pubic Library.

With her parents away on an overnight trip, Libby (Andi Garrett) amuses herself by joining her friend Kit (Sarah Lane) in calling up random strangers listed in the phone book and whispering, ’I saw what you did, and I know who you are.’ When Libby dials Steve Marak (John Ireland), a psychopath who just committed murder, his jealous neighbor and lover (Crawford) listens in on the call – a conversation that ends with the panicky killer determined to silence them all.

I Saw What You Did will screen at 7 PM, but early birds will be treated to a 50th anniversary screening of the 1969 perennial grade school classic short film Winter of the Witch at 6:30 PM.

Admission is free with your library card, and light refreshments will be served.
