Celebrating the 105th birth date of one of our most influential urbanists and activists.

Please join us for a one-hour walking tour of Jane’s childhood neighborhood and see Jane’s home, the site of Wickham Bros. Potato Chip Factory, the site of the George Washington School #3, with a stop at Henry’s on Clay; and many historic insights and discussions along the way.

Hosted by local AIA architect, John Cowder, and Jane Jacobs’s First City author, Glenna Lang.

We will meet at 1712 Monroe Avenue in Dunmore to start the tour. Face masks must be worn and social distancing followed. No registration is necessary. Free event.
