The Valley Community Library is excited to keep our momentum of Earth Month going into May with clean-ups and tree planting with the Lackawanna Heritage Valley Association and the NEPA Sierra Club. This program is geared towards ages 12 and older but families are welcome.
Join us on Tuesday, May 17th at 4:30 at the Laurel Street trail head of the Heritage Tail. We will learn the harms of litter, identify invasive species, and learn how to plant bare root trees and why they are important.
