Scranton Public Library has rescheduled the Saturday Movie Matinee of the 2021 Academy Award-winning film Nomadland for  Saturday, June 19th at 12 Noon.  The screening will be held in the Henkelman Room, located on the 2nd floor of Scranton Public Library. Nomadland will be followed by the Saturday Movie Matinee of The Father at 2 PM.

The screening is free with your library card.  Reservations and masks are required.  Seating is limited to 20 people.  Reserve below or by calling (570) 348-3000.

Nomadland (Wednesday, May 26th):  Winner of three 2021 Academy Awards (Best Picture, Best Actress, and Best Director).  After losing everything in the Great Recession, a woman embarks on a journey through the American West, living as a van-dwelling modern-day nomad.   Rated R; 1 hr., 47 min.
