Occupational Therapy is a health care profession that involves motivating clients to engage in meaningful therapeutic activities that increase their independence and promote health and well-being. Occupational therapists serve all people, of all ages and capabilities in many different settings. Occupational therapists have a holistic view of their clients and work with them to achieve their goals in activities of daily living and other meaningful occupations. They also address both mental and physical health in skilled areas including gross motor, fine motor, sensory, cognition, visual perceptual, and much more.
